Bill, Susie, and Family

Thought I'd give this thing a try. I very much enjoyed looking at all the pictures and reading the blogs. Our family is doing great! Scott and Sarah are starting their sophomore and senior years at Truman State in Kirksville, Mo. Sarah spent 45 days is Greece this summer studying abroad and most of the rest of it in Kirkville working as a waitress. Scott worked most of June and July as a lifeguard in KC before going to England to play soccer with his college team. He is in the 2nd week of pre-season workouts getting ready for another college season. They both are doing well in their studies and enjoy college life a lot. Susie and I taught summer school, then took a 9 day trip to Kauai, Hawaii. We had a great time. Susie retired from Raytown Schools and has started a new teaching position at the University Academy Charter School in KC. She is enjoying it so far. I started my 27th year of teaching this year and have signed on to coach 3 sports again. I'm getting back into wrestling a little by coaching the Middle School program. Cross Country practice is under way and between that and a full day of teaching, I'm keeping pretty busy. I'm going to attach some pics of Kauai and the family if I can. I almost forgot, the wonderful beast in the family pic is our yellow lab Jake who is both a joy and a pain, but we love him.

Biggerstaff Family Blog Explanation/Directions
Hey Everyone!
We (Kelly, Diane, Rhonda, and Anne) were sitting around talking on Father's Day and decided that it would be neat if the Biggerstaff Family had a website where everyone could post pictures and information. I am not as knowledgeable on working a website, except what I have had to do for school. Anyhow, Tony and I have a family blog using this same setup and it has been easy to use and FREE! We hope that everyone will post to it so that it gives everyone a chance to keep up with what is going on in the Biggerstaff Clan's lives.
Directions on How to Post:
First go to http://www.blogger.com/. From that page you will need to type in Rhonda Phillips' Email address for the user name and then get the password from myself, Diane, or Rhonda and type it in. This way everyone will have access to the account. Once you log in you can click on new post and type, post pictures, and even video. I hope this turns out to be easy for everyone. We really hate being so far away from everyone and hope this will give us all a chance to keep in touch. By the way, you can also comment on people's posts, which can serve as a communication tool. Well, we truly miss everyone and hope all are doing well!
Love,
Kelly Wolfe

Hello from the Dennis'
Hi everyone!
Just got on to check out the pictures - thanks for going to the trouble of setting up the site.
A few good looking young men there!
We just got back from a 3 day trip to St. Pete - actually Redington Beach. We found an older but still very nice motel just across the street from the beach. Talk about cheap! We stayed for 3 nights and it was only $135.40 including tax for the whole stay. They have a wonderful, big pool and the rooms are nothing fancy but they are clean. The access to the beach is just straight across the street and the beach is not deep like it was in Treasure Island so you are only minutes to the water. Very nice stretch of beach! Just across from the motel is a wonderful restaurant serving breakfast and lunch and there is a bar and liquor store next door to that. There is a Doubletree Inn just two blocks away that has a tiki bar looking out on the gulf. We saw a couple of dolphins while sitting there. The name of the place is The Malibu Motel and resort. Website is: maliburesortfl.com . Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone is looking for a place to stay. The restaurant that shows on the website is closed down. It is the Frog Pond restaurant that is across the street that is soooo good.
Dad fell about a week ago, while trying to help a neighbor lady. He didn't break anything but is very sore and he is having trouble getting around. I think he is feeling his age right now! Mom is doing great!
Hope to hear from some of you!
Love, Teresa & Ernie

Rhonda, Alan, and Lola Phillips

Hi everyone! I hope all of you enjoy this site! I really am looking forward to viewing your postings.
Alan, Lola, and I are doing fine! I am staying extremely busy with work and school. I started back to school on May 5th to finish my bachelor's degree in Organizational Management. I should be finished in December of 2009. I can't wait! I am still working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and have applied for a Supervisor position. I hope to find out next week. Alan has been working on our deck and pool lately and is trying to make it more private for us. It really is looking great! Lola, our cat, is getting bigger every minute. She is about 10 pounds now and is not even 2 years old. She looks like a Maine Coon cat, but is just a stray that we rescued. She is very wild and loves to run and play. Since we don't have any kids right now, she is our child.

Wolfe Family Vacation
On the left is Jacob looking out at the ocean. On the right is (L-R) Chad (Tony's brother), Kathy (Tony's mother), and then our family. We had such a great time and hated to leave.
